Card buying is available by appointment only. Appointments must be scheduled in advance by calling the store.
At this time, Swords & Spoons is purchasing Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon cards only. We do not purchase sealed product or graded cards ("slabs").
Purchase offers are based on current market conditions, card condition, authenticity, and our inventory needs. Swords & Spoons reserves the right to decline the purchase of any items at its sole discretion.
Payment may be made in cash or store credit, subject to applicable laws and store policies. A valid government-issued photo ID may be required for certain transactions.
All card buying transactions are final once payment has been issued.

To help ensure every order is prepared accurately, please wait until you receive your pickup notification before coming to the store.
Orders are processed in the order they are received. Processing times may vary based on order volume, product availability, staffing, and other operational factors. A pickup notification confirms that your order has been pulled, verified, and is ready for pickup.
Please do not call to check on the status of your order until at least 48 hours have passed since it was placed during normal business hours. Most orders are still being processed during this time, and limiting status inquiries allows our staff to focus on preparing orders as quickly and accurately as possible.
If you have not received a pickup notification after 48 hours, please contact the store and we will be happy to provide an update.

'Near Mint condition cards show minimal or no wear from play or handling and will have an unmarked surface, crisp corners, and otherwise pristine edges outside of minimal handling. Near Mint condition cards appear 'fresh out of the pack,' with edges and surfaces virtually free from all flaws. '

'Lightly Played condition cards can have slight border or corner wear, or possibly minor scratches. No major defects are present, and there are less than 4 total flaws on the card. Lightly Played condition foils may have slight fading or indications of wear on the card face. '

'Moderately Played condition cards have moderate wear, or flaws apparent to the naked eye. Moderately Played condition cards can show moderate border wear, mild corner wear, water damage, scratches , creases or fading, light dirt buildup, or any combination of these defects. '

'Heavily Played condition cards exhibit signs of heavy wear. Heavily Played condition cards may include cards that have significant creasing, folding, severe water damage, heavy whitening, heavy border wear, and /or tearing. '

'Damaged condition cards show obvious tears, bends, or creases that could make the card illegal for tournament play, even when sleeved. Damaged condition cards have massive border wear, possible writing or major inking (ex. white-bordered cards with black-markered front borders), massive corner wear, prevalent scratching, folds, creases or tears.
